Checking Import Activity
You can check the status of previously completed imports from the Schema page under Assets. Go to the Assets page and click on the Schema name for the one you set up in the original app configuration. Then click on the “Schema configuration” link:
On the schema configuration page, choose the “Import” tab and then click the “View History” button:
This will bring up the Import history. By clicking on the “Show more” link, you can see the details of a specific import run.
A status of “FAILED” does not mean that nothing was imported. Nor does it indicate that there was a problem with the import. It only indicates that the import encountered issues with certain records.
The example import details below encountered a list of failed users because “Email is not valid.” In this case, the problem is with those Entra ID user accounts - none have email accounts. Even though they have a UPN formatted like an email, the accounts have been intentionally stripped of their email addresses within Entra ID for business reasons. So, for this example, the import ‘errors’ are acceptable.
